Strategy and Evaluation action plan review cycles
This document covers the full lifecycle waste production and disposal at Culham. There will be a complete review of the lifetime plan triggered by significant operational changes. The strategy will be reviewed constantly but at least each 3 years. Action plans will be reviewed annually against the risk register. The strategy will change as decommissioning commences and the decommissioning plan takes the place of the operating plans. These will include:-
■ The strategy may require more frequent review depending on specific significant events which arise.
■ This will include changes to disposal sites and long term strategy of the national programme.
■ Changes to the decommissioning programme
■ Advances in technology
■ Significant changes to WAC of disposal sites
■ Changes in funding bodies
